About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Dairy Farm Managers to join our team. As a key member of our farm management, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dairy farm, ensuring optimal milk production and animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the overall health and well-being of the herd
- Implement and monitor Total Mixed Ration (TMR) feeding systems
- Maintain accurate records of milk production, animal health, and farm maintenance
- Supervise and train farm staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Perform routine farm maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture
- At least 2 years’ experience on a dairy farm
- Minimum of 1 year TMR experience
- Computer literate
- Ability to AI (Artificial Insemination)
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Maintenance orientated
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
