About the Role
The Mailroom Administrator role is a crucial part of our legal firm’s operations, requiring a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day activities of courier services, internal mail, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of courier operations, including scheduling pickups, booking deliveries, and preparing required documentation (invoices, waybills, tracking records).
- Handle internal mail, collections, deliveries, and related postal services.
- Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records using Microsoft Office and courier software.
- Assist with archiving administration, stock retrievals, and data capturing.
- Provide general office and facilities support, including printing, scanning, binding, and document preparation.
- Offer frontline assistance (reception cover) and support health and safety and facilities coordination activities.
- Liaise with service providers and assist with Wills Administration and other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 2 years experience working in a legal firm
- Experience in courier, mailroom, or administrative support functions
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
