About the Role
Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within a precast concrete manufacturing facility to improve efficiency, workflow, and output through engineering best practices. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless production delivery, while maintaining high quality standards and adhering to health, safety, and operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within the precast concrete manufacturing facility
- Improve production efficiency, workflow, and output through engineering best practices
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Support quality control and ensure compliance with SANS, SANRAL, and internal quality standards
- Collaborate with design, maintenance, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless production delivery
- Assist with process improvements, tooling, mould optimisation, and cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational standards on the production floor
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment
- Exposure to precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing advantageous
- Strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems
- Practical, hands-on engineering mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement
- Competent in MS Office and production reporting tools
Qualifications
- BTech in Civil Engineering or NDIP in Civil Engineering (required)
- Drivers License and Own Car (required)
