About the Role
Our client operates large-scale, high-criticality infrastructure and is appointing a Finance Manager to manage the financial performance of a key entity while supporting group-wide revenue oversight. The role blends operational finance, commercial engagement, and senior stakeholder partnering in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full financial accountability for a legal entity
- Oversight of revenue management, billing cycles, and collections performance
- Management of client escalations and complex revenue queries
- Delivery of hands-on finance outputs, including reconciliations, journals, and analysis
- Input into commercial negotiations, pricing structures, and contract terms
- Leadership and development of a geographically dispersed finance team
- Strong engagement with executive and C-suite stakeholders
- Ensuring adherence to IFRS, internal financial controls, and policies
Requirements
- BCom / BAcc or equivalent Finance qualification
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
- 4 years experience in a Financial Manager or Business Partner role
- Strong technical accounting and compliance exposure
- IFRS experience essential, with IFRS 16 mandatory
- Proven people management and senior stakeholder engagement capability
- Background in high-transaction, operational finance environments
- Advanced Excel and strong commercial analytics skills
