About the Role
The CNC Operator role at Talent Evolution Ltd is responsible for executing manufacturing and production activities through the effective setup and operation of CNC machinery. The incumbent will ensure accurate machining processes, maintain equipment, and support overall workshop operations to achieve efficient and high-quality production output.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Ensure accurate setup and operation of CNC machinery.
- Prepare and conduct test runs to verify NC program outputs.
- Monitor machine operations continuously to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain high standards of production quality and accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Inspect and measure both pre-machined and finished components.
- Submit workpieces for quality control (QC) checks and approvals.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 essential.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience in valve manufacturing advantageous.
- Experience in pipe fabrication advantageous.
- Experience in the metal and engineering industry advantageous.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications required for this role.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R15,000 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
