About the Role
The Junior Quality Engineer role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team in Paarl. As a junior quality engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes, documentation, and compliance standards within our manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO-regulated standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Provide support for quality-related projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Matric Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Quality Engineering
- Minimum 23 years experience in a manufacturing or ISO-regulated environment
- Graduate/intern exposure considered
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, documentation, and compliance standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Familiarity with SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation

- Formal education in Electrical Engineering or Quality Engineering (if applicable)
