About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and versatile Guide & FOH Couple to join a luxury private camp in the Addo region. This live-in role is ideal for a dynamic couple passionate about wildlife, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead game drives, walking safaris, and wildlife experiences for guests
- Share knowledge on flora, fauna, and conservation practices
- Ensure guest safety while delivering memorable safari experiences
- Welcome and check in guests, ensuring a warm and professional arrival
- Manage daily front-of-house operations, including guest services and dining
- Assist with housekeeping and maintaining the property to luxury standards
- Coordinate guest requests and provide personalised service
- Work closely with the lodge team to ensure smooth operations
- Support events, activities, and operational needs across the camp
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, and conduct
Requirements
Proven experience in guiding wildlife safaris and/or front-of-house operations
Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible; hands-on, and able to adapt to various operational tasks
Physically fit and able to work in a rugged outdoor environment
Knowledge of conservation and wildlife management is advantageous
