About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodge Manager to join our team at an exclusive safari lodge in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and support other team members
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Manage lodge operations, including resource allocation and budgeting
- Develop and implement effective critical thinking, judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making strategies
- Maintain high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of lodge management
Requirements
- Diploma in administration or hospitality
- 3 – 5 years experience in safari, hunting, or equivalent lodge management
- Guest forward-thinking with strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Valid drivers licence
