About the Role
Join a well-established logistics and transport group where you will play a key role in supporting financial governance, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence across multiple business entities. This role is ideally suited to an individual who has recently completed their SAIPA/SAICA Articles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports for multiple group entities
- Maintain and control fixed asset registers
- Prepare weekly sales and monthly commission reports
- Review debtors and creditors ageing
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, COID, annual returns, and statutory filings
- Compile monthly management accounts for all group entities
- Support BBBEE compliance across trading companies
- Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Complete annual financial statements with auditors
- Handle tax planning, tax computations, and tax submissions
- Manage daily accounting transactions and month/year-end closings
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting
- Monitor financial health, liquidity, and confidentiality of financial data
- Conduct regular database backups
- Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements timeously

- Completed SAIPA/SAICA Articles
