About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant to Quantity Surveyor in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The ideal candidate will provide support with billing, tender documentation, and administrative functions for the Quantity Surveyor. This role requires strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Quantity Surveyor with bills of quantities and per-bill pricing
- Supporting the preparation, administration, and submission of tenders
- Performing general QS-related administration and document control
- Capturing, updating, and maintaining project and financial data
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Travelling to sites and offices within the Bloemfontein area as required
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree or tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Strong computer literacy with proven competence in Microsoft Excel and Word
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail

- Matric (Grade 12)
Salary & Benefits
R 10,000 per annum, with a performance-based bonus. Working hours are Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00.
