Job Description:

Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer/Technologist to join the consulting industry in a challenging and rewarding role in Bloemfontein. As a Civil Design Engineer/Technologist, you will be responsible for designing and managing civil engineering projects for various clients in the consulting industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement civil engineering projects according to client requirements and industry standards
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Design municipal water and sewage infrastructure
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Between 5 to 10 years of post qualification experience in civil engineering
• Proven experience with the design of municipal and sewage infrastructure
• Professional registration with ECSA is beneficial
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, IDAS and other design software
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
