About the Role
As an Office Maintenance Technician at African Mining and Crushing SA Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties. Your primary responsibility will be to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, contributing to a safe, clean, and comfortable workspace for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of AMC Properties
- Addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Performing routine inspections of the office premises & yard to identify maintenance needs
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests submitted by management
- Conducting minor repairs and adjustments to office furniture, equipment, and appliances
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical and plumbing problems
- Assisting with setting up and rearranging office spaces
- Performing general maintenance tasks to maintain a clean and attractive appearance
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of maintenance materials & equipment
- Maintaining garden equipment & tools, reporting damage or need for replacement
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques
- Relevant experience in property maintenance and yard management
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
