Aspire Recruiting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Mill Team Leader on behalf of an established client in the agricultural feed manufacturing sector. This trainee role is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills within a production facility, ensuring top-tier feed manufacturing standards are met while guiding a dedicated team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks on the feed, including detailed inspections for ingredient accuracy and final product uniformity.
  • Production Management: Take responsibility for manufacturing feed according to established formulas and quality standards, while ensuring staff perform their duties as per standard procedures.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and address any production issues or equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent to NQF 4.
  • Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior knowledge of feed mill machinery and equipment will be advantageous.
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid RSA drivers license along with your own transport.

Abilities & Competencies:

  • Excellent operations coordination, as well as planning and organizing skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure while building strong, collaborative work relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail, complemented by solid reporting skills
