About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team in Bloemfontein, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our animal feed manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate raw material levels in proportioning bins
- Ensure adequate final feed stock levels in out-loading bins
- Participate in schedule planned maintenance
- Check & ensure that pellet and feed quality meets specifications
- Manage raw material and final feed line / system flushing Daily, weekly, monthly monitoring & control of overall equipment efficiency
- Implement initiative to address deviations
- Accurately complete shift production
- Monitor and report machine & equipment failures to the maintenance department
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Production Diploma
- 5 years in animal feed manufacturing environment
- 2 years management experience in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods)
