About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and driven 2IC Manager to support the overall management of our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day production, maintaining high-quality standards, and stepping into a leadership position in the absence of the Factory Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Supervise production teams and provide leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs
- Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and quality departments
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred)
