About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Technician with a specialised focus on water engineering to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our water conservation initiatives, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing various projects, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring efficient execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the implementation of water conservation strategies and projects.
Manage and supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective execution of tasks.
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement in water conservation efforts.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all activities and prepare regular reports for management.

Requirements

Valid South African Drivers License.
National Diploma (NDip) in Civil Engineering, Water Management, or a related field.
Registered as a Candidate with ECSA.
2-3 Years’ experience after obtainment of Qualification on municipal water projects, water demand and conservation, metering, water distribution and reticulation.
