About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Financial Planner to join our team in Newlands, Cape Town. As an Independent Financial Advisory, we specialise in local and offshore investments and financial planning, supporting a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply 3-5 years of working experience in financial planning and investment advice to onboard and service clients.
- Work as part of a professional team in the office from 8:30 – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Meet with prospective clients virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at the offices.
- Follow an established onboarding process to bring on new clients.
- Advise existing and prospective clients on their investment portfolios and offshore investing.
- Assist clients with tax planning, estate planning, and wills.
- Prepare and conduct investment reviews for clients.
- Monitor FICA compliance and keep records of new and existing clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience as a financial planner, including experience in onboarding and servicing investment clients with different investment vehicles.
- Must have a CFP qualification.
- Must have passed the RE5 regulatory exam.
- Fluent in speech and writing in Afrikaans and English.
- Hold a relevant degree, with Bcom/BusSci/Hons preferable.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree (Bcom/BusSci/Hons) or equivalent.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: R25 000 – R30 000 per annum.
