About the Role
The National Fleet / Logistics Company in Blackheath, Cape Town is seeking a Fleet Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s fleet operations and ensuring seamless logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- Damages process: check damages against cheek sheet, take pictures to accompany check, and obtain quotes
- Liaise with ops to generate RA (Repair Authorisation) to workshops
- Obtain workshop report and quotes within 48 hours of damage inspection
- Servicing of vehicles, including planned maintenance
- Planned tail lifts in advance
- Monthly Fleet Report liaison with Ops Team
- Disposals planning and preparation
- Liaison with Ops Team for BM (Booking Management), RMB (Rental Management) acquisitions
- Complete vehicle file management
- Transfers fleet management
- Reconcile fleet reports, including non-movement of vehicles, fines, and tracking data
- Tracker audit (all vehicles)
- Etol (all vehicles fitted with etags and active) audits
- Fines process, including sending fines to clients and charging out or paying
