About the Role

As a Portfolio Manager – Transport at Communicate Finance, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring a portfolio of transport and asset finance clients to ensure strong financial performance and asset quality. You will maintain relationships with clients, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate with internal teams to optimise portfolio performance and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of transport and asset finance clients
  • Maintain relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Monitor credit risk by reviewing client financials and ensuring compliance with credit policies
  • Support deal structuring and execution within the portfolio
  • Prepare portfolio reports and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise portfolio performance and mitigate risk

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a client-facing role within financial services or asset finance
  • Strong portfolio management, credit risk, and financial analysis experience
  • Proven ability in financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and financial modelling
  • Experience in asset finance, fleet finance, or transport-related sectors is advantageous
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications

  • BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics
