About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operator (Code 14) to join our team in Springs, South Africa. As a key member of our Logistics team, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty earth-moving equipment and providing support to our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine inspection and mechanical maintenance of yard equipment
- Assistance with routine mechanical maintenance and repair of heavy-duty earth-moving equipment
- Assisting other members of the Logistics team in general
- General movement of office furniture
- Operating and driving all yard equipment, including Abnormal Horse and Trailer, multi axle and articulated vehicles
Requirements
- Unendorsed driver’s licence of the appropriate category
- Professional driving permit as required in terms of Section 32 of the NRTA
- Previous experience in operating track and chain driven machines
- Licenced code 14 driver with proven track record of operating and driving heavy-duty equipment
