About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team in Cape Town City Centre, providing quality nursing care to residents with dignity, comfort, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support to residents in accordance with care plans and nursing standards.
  • Assist in the daily care of residents living with dementia, ensuring patience, understanding, and empathy.
  • Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
  • Administer medication and treatments within scope of practice.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Manage and respond appropriately to behavioural changes associated with dementia.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and resident records.
  • Ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment for residents.
  • Work closely with families and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Current registration with the Nursing Council
  • Previous experience working with elderly or dementia residents will be advantageous
