About the Role

A well-established construction company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee residential and commercial building developments in the Durbanville area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring programme targets are met, and maintaining high construction standards across multiple phases of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site operations on residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and plant
  • Ensure projects are completed according to programme and quality standards
  • Monitor health & safety compliance on site
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
  • Liaise with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Drive productivity and maintain strong site discipline
  • Manage site reporting and progress tracking

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry
