About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious finance professional to join our team in Cape Town City Centre as a Project Finance Analyst. This role offers exposure to complex transactions, financial modelling, and large-scale projects across Africa, providing opportunities for growth within a specialized finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for project finance transactions
- Assist with financial structuring and feasibility analysis of infrastructure and energy projects
- Support transaction execution processes, including due diligence and investor engagement
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and transaction-related documentation
- Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and scenario modelling
- Engage with lenders, investors, legal teams, and other project stakeholders
- Perform market and industry research to support strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Finance Degree preferred
- 25 years experience within: Project finance Corporate finance Investment banking Infrastructure finance Renewable energy finance
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of debt and equity funding structures
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- CFA / FMVA / CIMA studies (advantageous)
- Experience working on transactions across Africa (advantageous)
