About the Role

The Sales Manager (Americas) at The Royal Portfolio plays a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional guest experiences across our properties in Cape Town City Centre. This position requires a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building strong relationships with travel trade partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Lead generation – Regular meetings, product training, site visits and educationals with travel trade partners.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to bring in new business and grow the current client base.
  • Collaborate with partners in the luxury space to expand the company’s reach and exposure.
  • Marketing, Reservations and Revenue Strategy – Collaborate with marketing, communications, reservations and revenue teams to maximise occupancy and yield.
  • Reporting – Regular reporting on sales activity, feedback, enquiries, conversions, questions and concerns. Keeping the CRM up to date.
  • Constant research on market intelligence.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales Manager position in Hospitality or Inbound Tourism, in the luxury market.
  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Business Management/ Hospitality or a related field is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven track record and strong, existing relationships with Agents and Operators based in North and South America.
