About the Role
As an SEO Specialist in Cape Town City Centre, you will play a crucial role in improving website rankings, boosting organic traffic, and enhancing overall search presence. With a focus on hands-on implementation, you will work closely with clients to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted strategies to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement SEO initiatives to improve organic performance
- Manage optimisation efforts across multiple websites or client portfolios
- Identify technical issues impacting performance and recommend solutions
- Optimise on-page elements including metadata, content, and internal linking
- Support strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profiles
- Enhance local presence through directory listings, reviews, and listings management
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversion data
- Provide regular insights and recommendations based on performance trends
Requirements
- 25 years of SEO experience (agency preferred)
- Proven success improving rankings and traffic
- Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Experience with Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and reporting tools
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
