About the Role

The purpose of this role is to utilize .NET and VB skills to maintain and enhance an existing Retail Management System. The successful candidate will design, test, and deploy software solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold 5 – 8 years experience in software development to maintain and enhance an existing Retail Management System.
  • Develop and implement software modifications and enhancements using Visual Basic 6.
  • Design, test, and deploy software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Program using ASP.NET, legacy ASP.NET framework 4.8 (or similar generation), and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Utilize HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for front-end development.
  • Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to system maintenance.
  • Utilize Git experience.

Requirements

  • 5 – 8 years experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic 6 and ASP.NET programming languages.
  • Experience with legacy ASP.NET Framework 4.8 (or similar generation).
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Front-end skills in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Strong Git experience.
