About the Role
High-impact position in Cape Town City Centre, where your designs directly influence customer success and project outcomes. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll engage with decision-makers, shape long-term IT strategies, and lead complex customer engagements to understand business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead customer engagements to understand business and technical requirements
• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned to customer outcomes
• Present, explain, and defend solution designs in workshops and proposals
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to the Solution Sales team
• Support project execution from design through to implementation handover
• Provide troubleshooting and fault-finding support when required
Requirements
• 5 years of experience as an infrastructure-focused Solutions Architect or senior engineer
• Strong background across storage, servers, virtualisation, and data protection
• Comfortable engaging with customers at both technical and executive levels
• Proven experience with enterprise SAN and storage solutions (Dell PowerStore / PowerVault preferred)
• Strong server design and deployment experience (Dell PowerEdge advantageous)
Qualifications
• Completed degree in a relevant field
