About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Cost Controller to join our team at Aquila Collection, supporting administrative functions across various areas of the business while managing financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, control, and report on operational costs
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting within the finance department
  • Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting
  • Perform general farm administration duties as required
  • Manage record keeping at Gift Shop
  • Manage bookings for self-catering units
  • Oversee stock control processes, including regular stock takes and inventory management
  • Ensure all financial and administrative records are accurate and up to date
  • Support procurement and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Previous experience in a cost control or finance-related role (hospitality or agriculture environment advantageous)

Strong administrative and organisational skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
