Job Description

Large Hotel Chain requires a National Marketing Manager, the position will be based in the Cape Town City Bowl area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, guest acquisition, and revenue growth for the hotel group. This role involves leading marketing initiatives, managing budgets, and collaborating with various teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1: Develop and implement marketing strategies: Craft comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the hotel group’s overall business objectives and brand guidelines. 2: Lead marketing campaigns: Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing (website, social media, email, online advertising) and traditional marketing methods. 3: Manage budgets: Allocate and manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI on marketing activities. 4: Collaborate with sales and other teams: Work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in marketing efforts. 5: Analyze market trends: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. 6: Manage brand and trade marketing: Drive brand and trade marketing campaigns, maintain marketing activity calendars, and ensure consistency across all channels. 7: Oversee website management and content: Ensure the hotel group’s website is up-to-date, engaging, and optimized for search engines. 8: Manage social media presence: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility. 9: Drive guest loyalty: Develop and execute strategies to build guest loyalty and encourage repeat business. 10: Measure and analyze results: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives to identify areas for improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 5 Years Hospitality Marketing Management Experience Proven experience in strategic marketing roles, particularly within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and project management skills. Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. Knowledge of the South African market and competitive landscape
