Job Description

Duties:
 
Plan, forecast, and drive hotel revenue across Rooms, F&B outlets, and all market segments.
Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans aligned with business strategy and TBEM framework
Prepare and utilize forecasting tools and market intelligence to inform long-term planning
Implement revenue management strategies to improve RevPAR and profitability
Propose room and F&B pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and target segments
Develop market mix guidelines and ensure performance against targets
Drive revenue growth within the luxury safari and leisure travel segment
Build and maintain relationships with corporates, travel trade partners, agents, media, and key stakeholders
Identify customer needs through research, surveys, sales calls, and market engagements
Expand and maintain a strong customer and account database
Strengthen the hotel’s presence in global luxury travel networks
Determine and implement sales and marketing activities to achieve revenue and profit targets
Ensure consistent and impactful brand positioning within the luxury segment
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and evolving customer expectations
Control and optimize distribution channels to ensure effective market reach
Support the relaunch strategy and growth initiatives of the hotel
 
Requirements:
 
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, leisure, or safari sales
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue growth
Strong network within the luxury travel trade and safari sector
Solid experience in revenue management, forecasting, and pricing strategies
Strong understanding of market trends, distribution channels, and customer segmentation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
High level of commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Willingness to travel locally and internationally
Should be fluent in English.  Additional language advantageous
Computer literate (MS Office and Amadeus, S&C)
Good communication skills
Excellent writing and presentation skills on all levels and attention to detail
Ability to work without supervision
Ability to think creatively and generate original ideas
Confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure business
Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
Ability to work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
Goal orientated and results and target driven
Ability to travel when required by the company
