About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a passionate Product Designer to develop industry-leading artefacts and accessories for IBC liners and container liners in the beautiful Cape Town. We’re looking for someone who can interrogate requirements, wrestle with complex and conflicting needs, and drive forward balanced solutions that deliver against mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Interrogate requirements to identify design drivers.
Contribute high-quality ideas in brainstorming sessions.
Manage projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Develop and maintain design documentation and specifications.

Requirements

Industry experience of design for injection moulding, specifically designing injection moulded parts that are/are in production.
A tertiary qualification in Industrial Design or a relevant Engineering field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support the systematic management and evaluation of data.
A good understanding of the process of tooling up for injection moulding and the injection moulding conversion process.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a relevant Engineering field.
Matric certificate (if applicable)
