About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cluster Financial Manager to oversee the full financial function for multiple properties within a prominent South African hotel portfolio in Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Durban. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between corporate financial objectives and on-the-ground hotel operations, ensuring that profitability and compliance are maintained at the highest level across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function across the cluster, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for each individual property.
- Develop and manage complex budgets, forecasts, and aggressive cost-control strategies to drive profitability.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with regulations and company policies.
- Monitor regional cash flow, manage capital expenditure projects, and mitigate financial risks.
- Act as a strategic partner to General Managers and HODs, providing the financial insights needed for informed decision-making.
- Manage, develop, and mentor the finance teams at each property, ensuring consistent best practices across the cluster.
Requirements
- A non-negotiable background in the hospitality sector with at least 5 years of financial management experience.
- Proven experience managing the finances of multiple hotels or large-scale resorts simultaneously.
- Highly proficient in financial reporting systems and modern Hotel Management Software.
- A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: R60,000 – R70,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Retirement & Risk: Comprehensive Pension Fund with Old Mutual (6% Employer & 6% Employee contribution), including disability cover, life insurance, and funeral cover.
Health: 50% Discovery Medical Aid contribution for the employee and their immediate dependents.
