About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our premier African safari travel specialist based in Cape Town. As the engine behind lead generation and brand growth, you will be responsible for developing and executing a modern marketing strategy aligned with international revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a modern marketing strategy aligned with international revenue targets.
- Lead the charge on Paid Media (Google Ads/Meta), SEO, and digital campaigns with a fierce focus on Cost Per Lead (CPL) and ROI.
- Oversee the creation of engaging blogs, guides, and newsletters that resonate with safari-goers and improve organic keyword rankings.
- Manage the “lead journey”—from the first click to the final booking—ensuring repeat and referral business through smart CRM marketing.
- Maintain the businesses as a trusted authority in African travel through consistent messaging and strategic PR/influencer partnerships.
- Responsible for full-funnel reporting and ROI analysis.
Requirements
- Tourism Industry Expertise: Understanding how to market travel, knowing the difference between a lead and a qualified traveler.
- 5 Years in Digital Marketing: Proven experience in SEO, Paid Media, and CRM journeys.
- International Market Savvy: Experience in driving demand from key global markets into Africa.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with data, ROAS, and website conversion optimisation.
- Self-Starter Attitude: Motivated professional who can align marketing activity with sales outcomes.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Digital Media. Solid track record in the travel/tourism sector (Non-negotiable).
