About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Technologist/Unit Manager to join our team in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nephrology, excellent management skills, and the ability to work flexible hours if necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure existing and new staff are trained regarding Patient Control Sheet System
- Draw up and send monthly reports to the Regional Manager
- Ensure staff adhere to the Time and Attendance system
- Arrange with HR Business Partner for Unit staff to attend training courses and or congresses
- Recruitment of new staff
- Supervise and evaluate the quality of patient care provided
- Plan and conduct performance appraisals twice yearly and provide Head Office with copies
- Accurately monitor and record stock in accordance with Head Office Procedures
- Order stock as required
- Maintain strict adherence to company Policies
Requirements
- Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or with HPCSA as a Graduate Clinical Technologist
- Previous management experience advantageous
- Nephrology Course (Essential)
- BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology) MS package (Essential)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport essential
- Renal experience (Essential)
- BLS certificate (Validity Essential)
