About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to join our client in Cape Town, a leading packaging manufacturing company with a strong focus on food safety. As a key member of their dynamic team, you will be responsible for managing stock control and warehousing operations in a GMP-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock control and warehousing operations
- Implement and maintain food safety principles
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics and distribution
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, track inventory movements, and optimize storage space
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in stock control/warehousing in a GMP-controlled environment
- 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Strong background in food safety principles
- Experience with ERP systems (Syspro) and advanced Excel features (pivot tables)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations Management/Industrial Engineering
- Matric or equivalent qualification
