About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Restaurant Manager / GM to join our team at the ultra-modern and trendy EatOut Restaurant on the V&A Waterfront. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and controlling both lunch and dinner service in terms of quality of food, drinks, and tasting menu experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and steer daily operations
- Oversee staff and control both lunch and dinner service
- Work with daily bookings, invoices, emails, and correspondence
- Staff scheduling and meetings to discuss menu highlights, set up requirements and service standards
- Procurement of goods & equipment as well as sourcing, recruitment & training of staff
- Financial budgets and profitability
- Guest overall experience and professional yet relaxed restaurant atmosphere
Requirements
- Senior; highly motivated candidate with previous EatOut Restaurant Management experience
- Advanced food & beverage knowledge with additional skills in WINES, Artisan COFFEE and 5* service standards
- Highly proficient in Point of Sale and Back of House software as well as Excel, Word & Office
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills in English
- Proven abilities in planning, organising, motivating and directing staff
