A well-established manufacturing organisation in Durban is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to electrical systems, production processes, plant operations, and engineering projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with electrical design work, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
- Support project and maintenance engineers with site inspections, commissioning, and plant-related activities.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues within the plant environment.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Provide technical and administrative support across engineering projects and operations.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- BTech / Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (with an average aggregate of 60% and more)
Experience:
- 0–2 years’ experience within engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong academic performance will be advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to engineering software tools advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
