About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a well-grounded and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join a professional finance team in Bellville. This role is ideal for a junior professional with solid bookkeeping experience who is ready to take on a diverse range of financial and administrative responsibilities within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
- Raise invoices for the sales team and generate purchase orders efficiently.
- Perform petty cash reconciliations and update credit applications and reports.
- Collate and calculate commission for the sales team with high precision.
- Undertake a variety of financial reporting tasks and support the broader team with essential administrative execution.
- Participate in business goals by supporting the expansion of the clientele and supplier base while maintaining ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Requirements
- Education: A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping.
- Experience: 35 years of solid bookkeeping experience is essential.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and proficiency in financial software/CRM systems.
- Attributes: High level of accuracy, excellent time management, and a focus on effective task execution.

Salary: R150 000 – R180 000
Cell Allowance: R250 per month
