About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of chemical products, applications, and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the chemical metal finishing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the chemical metal finishing industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Provide technical product knowledge and tailored solutions to customers
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment
- Prepare quotes, sales forecasts, and reports
- Attend client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Requirements
- Proven sales experience (preferably in chemical / metal finishing or related industry)
- Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling ability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
