Durban: Mould Setter – R300K – R250K posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client in the Packaging Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Mould Setter to join their team in KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all mould changes throughout the plant
• Setting machines according to the best practices
• Conducting mould and material trials as required
• Reporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements.
• Ensuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced, and stored. 
• Ensuring top quality products are produced.
• Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and safety
• Any other duties reasonably requested by Team Leader or Manager.
• Prepared to work overtime when required.

Requirements:

• N3 mechanical or electrical is essential, N4 or higher is preferred.
• Mechanical/Technical aptitude
• At least 3 years Setting experience in production and/or manufacturing FMCG or similar.
• Exposure to Injection or Blow moulding processing and setting is essential.
• Must have experience in leading Tool and Mould changes in current or previous role.
