About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team, specializing in Commercial Insurance Lines. As a key member of our short-term insurance advisory team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, conducting needs analyses with clients, and providing expert advice on short-term insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Source sufficient lead generating opportunities to ensure a healthy income-generating pipeline
- Maintain and update the Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis with all prospective clients to discharge their advice responsibility
- Perform in line with business expectations on agreed key performance areas
- Stay up-to-date and fully informed on product comparisons with opposition products
- Be proficient in short-term insurance products and stay abreast of all product changes and enhancements
- Maintain compliance with regulations, standards, and professional guidelines and ethics
- Develop and maintain required skills and knowledge to provide specialist advice in relevant business areas
- Meet the Fit and proper requirements as prescribed by the FAIS codes of conduct
Requirements
- Prospecting and sales pipeline management

- Strong understanding and experience of the short-term Insurance industry in South Africa

Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
- FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short-term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a fully recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list (Beneficial)
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: R15,000 / month
- Retainer Allowances up to R60,000 / annum
- Uncapped Commission
- Traveling Allowances up to R5000 / Month
- Cellphone Allowance / Month
- Technology Provisions (Laptop and Cellphone)
- Performance incentives and Bonuses / month
- Benefits (Medical Aid / Pension Fund & Death and disability cover)
