East London: Internship – Field Service Engineer Interns – Eastern Cape

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer Intern to join our team in East London, Eastern Cape. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT field service engineering and work closely with our experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• End user support – Resolve logged incidents
• Communicate, dress, and display positive attitude
• Ensure incident is resolved on first contact within SLA
• Ensure compliance to pending rules is followed
• Quality data input – Ensure that data captured on Resolve IT incident is accurate
• Preventative maintenance – Identify possible risks
• Deploy, Monitor, Repair, Support & Manage Desktop, Manage Windows Operating Systems, Office Automation Software, Printers, Scanners
• Setup desktops & peripherals & test network connections, install software

Requirements

• Completed 3-year tertiary qualification in IT (i.e. Diploma in IT; Support Services, Computer Systems, Bsc. in IT)
• Valid drivers license (advantageous)
