About the Role
The Talent Room is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our team in Amanzimtoti. This hands-on internship offers an opportunity to learn the automotive sales process, from customer engagement to vehicle delivery, and develop key professional, communication, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist sales consultants with customer inquiries and follow-ups
- Support vehicle presentations and test drive arrangements
- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions
- Assist in preparing quotations, invoices, and sales documentation
- Support online vehicle listings and basic marketing content
- Participate in dealership promotions, events, and activations
- Conduct basic research on vehicle models, pricing, and competitors
- Assist in tracking leads, conversions, and sales performance metrics
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Valid Driver’s License (non-negotiable)
- Strong interest in sales and the automotive industry
- Creative, confident, and social media savvy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Advantageous: studying towards or completed a qualification in Sales & Marketing / Business / Commerce
