This is a critical role responsible for bridging the gap between finance, business data, and reporting. You will take ownership of key finance reporting processes, support the evolution of the organisation’s business intelligence landscape, and ensure that financial and operational stakeholders have access to accurate, meaningful, and actionable insights.

Working closely with Finance, IT, and business teams, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial and operational data into integrated reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making, financial performance management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reporting solutions across the business.
• Analyse and integrate data from multiple systems to deliver accurate and meaningful management information.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis through robust reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, analytical reports, and finance reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across finance systems and reporting platforms.
• Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting solutions, SSRS reports, and ETL processes.
• Support ERP reporting environments and contribute to finance systems optimisation initiatives.
• Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and financial reporting.
• Drive reporting automation, process improvement, and continuous enhancement of reporting capabilities.
• Deliver insights that support financial, operational, and strategic decision-making

Jpb experience and Skills required:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Finance Systems, Financial Reporting, Business Intelligence, MIS, Data Analytics, or a similar reporting-focused role.
• Strong exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Advanced SQL Server experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Proven experience with Data Warehouse concepts and data modelling methodologies.
• Advanced Power BI development experience.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SYSPRO, Epicor, or similar.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, reporting architecture, and finance data environments.
• Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or a regulated environment will be advantageous.
