East London: Senior Financial Accountant posted by Profile Personnel

Senior Financial Accountant required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company , based in East London , Eastern Cape

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years senior experience in Finance
• Manufacturing / Automotive experience advantageous
• BCom Accounting or CA(SA) advantageous
• Account for tax & VAT
• Solid ERP experience (BPCS advantageous)
• Systematic Problem Solving & Decision Making
• IFRS compliance

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and returns for internal and external use.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management.
• Review and action Financial variances (Budget / Forecast / Estimate).
• Ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Submission of monthly and annual reports on reporting platform (Onestream)
• Functional currency reporting
• Prepare & maintain a CAPEX and Tooling reports & register tracking actual spend against approved spend, planning future profitability & cash flows of the projects.
• Prepare CAPEX requisition with all relevant information regarding the CAPEX project
• CAPEX analysis with project launch comparison
• Support useful life and residual value of Fixed Assets analysis.
• Lease accounting
