General Manager Eastern Cape ️ Luxury Private Reserve Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in Position Role Overview: Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an exceptional General Manager for a luxury private reserve in the Eastern Cape. This is a career-defining opportunity for a seasoned hospitality leader with a proven track record in luxury lodge management, operational excellence, guest experience, financial performance, and team leadership. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the reserve, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards across all departments. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 6–8 years’ experience as a General Manager within a luxury 5-star lodge environment • Relevant Hospitality, Tourism, or Business qualification advantageous • Proven experience managing all lodge operations, budgets, and financial performance • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams • Exceptional guest relations and hosting abilities • Sound understanding of HR, staff development, and performance management • Experience managing maintenance, housekeeping, food & beverage, and front-of-house operations • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and operational discipline • Passion for luxury hospitality, conservation, and delivering memorable guest experiences • Stable employment history with excellent contactable references What We’re Looking For: • A hands-on and inspirational leader • Strong commercial and operational acumen • Guest-focused with a passion for service excellence • Calm, adaptable, and solutions-driven • Able to thrive in a remote bush environment • Committed to building a positive team culture and maintaining exceptional standards Package: • Salary negotiable depending on experience • Live-in accommodation provided • Opportunity to lead a prestigious luxury safari destination Please note that only suitable candidates meeting the requirements of the position will be contacted.
