About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Draughtsperson to join our team. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in both structural and civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing accurate, high-quality construction drawings, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial buildings, steel structures, and civil infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit for all structural elements, including concrete, masonry, timber, and structural steel
Prepare, update, and manage detailed drawings in AutoCAD
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into construction documentation
Review and update drawings to reflect project changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards
Maintain well-organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation
Provide technical input and recommendations to improve drawing quality and project efficiency
Mentor junior draughtspersons and provide guidance on best draughting and documentation practices

Requirements

Matric (essential)
Tertiary qualification in Engineering Draughting, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Approximately 10 years experience in engineering draughting, ideally across both structural and civil projects
Proven experience producing detailed construction drawings
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
