Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Agent with a SACPCMP registration in the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of road and earthworks projects.

Key Responsibilities:
– Managing and coordinating all aspects of road and earthworks projects from start to finish
– Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
– Monitoring and enforcing health and safety regulations on site
– Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress
– Managing and motivating site staff to achieve project goals
– Keeping detailed records of project progress and communicating updates to the project manager

Requirements:
– SACPCMP registration is mandatory
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred
– Strong knowledge of road and earthworks construction techniques and materials
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Valid driver’s license
