About the Role

Dante Personnel is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting & Planning Manager to join our team in Edenvale. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support business growth and strategy. This role requires a strong background in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reconcile management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling with department heads
  • Provide financial insights, ad hoc analyses, and dashboards
  • Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members
  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and responses
  • Collaborate across departments to provide financial guidance
  • Assist with tax returns for South African and USA entities
  • Manage financial reporting and cash flow for one USA and three South African companies

Requirements

  • 2–5 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • BCom or Bachelor of Business Science advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, financial modeling)
  • Experience with ERP/finance systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborative, able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
