Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments
  • Organize and maintain parts inventory in designated storage areas
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate stock records using computerized inventory management systems
  • Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Identify and report damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving stock
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and security of all parts
  • Assist customers and sales staff in locating specific parts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Process returns and warranty claims as required
  • Generate inventory reports and assist with stock analysis

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in inventory management software
  • Experience with stock control systems and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations
  • Clear communication skills in English

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience working with automotive parts
  • Knowledge of car parts nomenclature and applications
  • Experience with barcode scanning systems
  • 1-2 years warehouse or parts experience
